i read your tutorial about contrab in linux and im interested in learning more about that

besically if you can tell me what is the contrab format i need to use

i would really appreciate it. im learning all this and im stuck

well not sure if this would help, but this is the syntax you need to use

at that interval.
* * * * * command to be executed
- - - - -
| | | | |
| | | | +----- day of week (0 - 6) (Sunday=0)
| | | +------- month (1 - 12)
| | +--------- day of month (1 - 31)
| +----------- hour (0 - 23)
+------------- min (0 - 59)

ok so you want to know how to put comments when you send this command: crontab -e just use the # character for example: # i am putting commens on this line
