how many times have you tried to boot a server and then all of the sudden you get this error:

NTLDR is missing
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart

so how do you fix it.

well, fixing it could be easy assuming the damage is small.

the first step i do when i get this error is to copy the ntldr file from a good working computer and puting it on the bad computer.

there might be times when you get ntldr is missing in fixboot. this also works on ntldr is missing in windows xp installation. so hopefully you can see ntldr is missing how to fix. once i had a ntldr is missing hal dll, but all i had to do is restore it with another ntldr file. dont get confuse because ntldr is missing is not in the bios ntldr is missing can be also get from a usb boot. the most common place where you will see ntldr is missing is in windows xp home edition, not so much on windows xp professional or windows 2000 because i think they are better than the home edition. i have not seen this on vista or seven yet.

if you are wondering how you can copy and paste the ntldr file into the bad computer, you are going to have to use the Recovery Console.
