how can i create a directory on my linux server which holds a large amount of files.

i have like 3Gigs of files but for some reason i can't seem to be able to create a directory to put all these files

what can i do?

all you have to do is use the mkdir command for example lets say i want to create a directory called webune all i have do to is send this command

mkdir webune/
