The Package 'Python PEP8 Autoformat' is not available

Today I installed a copy of Sublime text editor in my linux ubuntu virtual box machine. Everything was workig fine until I needed to add the package installer.
I first installed it through the console. it was working find.
Then I was looking around getting myself familiar with the editor I went to Tools > Install Package Control
After I did this, i started to get this error:
Package Control
The package 'Python PEP8 Autoformat' is not available
To fix this, i had to remove package control from /home/developer/.config/sublime-text-3 by deleting the Package and Installed Packaged directories. Restarted sublime and re-installed it using the console
