hi, i just finished the tutorial and i want to add a widget to the code, but i want to know if its possible to use wget as in the command in my php code

is that possible?

yes you can: if you have permission on your hosting, you can use the system() function to run shell scripts

$string = system('wget http://www.example.com/index.html ~',$file);

echo $string;
?>
