How To Install Minicom In Linux by Webune Support

follow these steps for the installation of minicom in linux server.

this command has been confirmed to work in the following linux/unix distributions:

RedHat
CentOS
Fedora

the command to install minicom is:

yum install minicom

after you send the command you will see it will begin installing

if you have a different linux/unix distribution you might have to install yum in your system. if you have a different distribution, please tell me which one you are using and if the command works. or if you know of any other command to use the works good.

Hello,
My PC can't connect to internet. So I can't use this command "yum install minicom".
I want to install minicom by using the installation package "minicom-2.6.2.tar.gz".
you pls help to share how to install it?

I already got solution.
download package first.(I got minicom-2.4.tar.gz)
#tar zxvf minicom-2.4.tar.gz
#cd minicom-2.4
#./configure install

i deleted minicom file at usr/bin/minicom so pc is telling no such file..wat to do
