thanks for showing me the picture of a CSU/DSU, now i know how it looks like, but i want to know how it works. i mean, i have a linux server, but i dont know how it applies to my server?

you can use a CSU/DSU for example when you have a t1 circuit coming to your demarc and you have it connected to a cisco router, it then you can use the signal as ethernet
