Windows Theme Files Location

At C:\Users\WHATEVER\AppData I can open each folder individually and take out the pics I like and create a large folder of favoured pics. Easy - no problems. However other folders of pics don't get saved to the above location but are short-cutted. How does one open these folders to drag out the pics I want?

i was able to find the windows 7 themes folder, but when i try to look for the windows 7 vista version, i dont get anything. the default windows 7 theme should be located where you find the absolute file caleld shell32 dll

since windows 7 is so new, you can change the settings for personalization. thats the whole reason why i buy the windows 7 screen saver package on my electronics store, they said that windows 7 2009 was going to be better than vista, but i find that with windows 7 you can still have the same settings for your wallpaper folder. so i went to the msn support page and completed downloading the pack windows 7 and it works.

so just incase, you have the same problem, you can still fix it yourself, bu you just gotta know where the directories are loacted at. you know what i mean?

wait, just wanted to mention i dont have much money so i can't afford a them expensive

also, do you sell them cuz if you do i willing to buy from you

one more questions tho, how can i make a really dark theme can you share that one with us

wehre are the theme files location in windows 7 if you are not logged in as the defaul user?

they are save at:

C:\Users\WHATEVER\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Themes


change "WHATEVER" to whatever your username is


the system default themes are located at:
C:\Windows\Resources\Themes
