can anyone help me

i have an hp dv2000 laptop pavillion and i upgraded to windows 7, from windows xp. the computer came installed with vista.

recently i upgraded my memory from 2G to 4G to kingston memory modules.

my computer was working fine til this morning when i was at work, i put it to sleep then this morning when i connected to my monitor and my usb keyboard and mouse the usb did not work. so i try to reboot it

so when i tried to reboot, it would hang at the shutdown screen so i forced it by pressing down on the power button and restarted it. so i wanted to know why it was stopping at the shutdown screen so i tried again to so shutdown from the start menu and the same result.

now not even my usb ports work

has anyone had any expirience in this problems

i may add to my situation, i got stuck also, i had changed some configuration in msconfig panel but never rebooted, then put my laptop into sleep, then when i bring the computer back its not recognizing the usb so i reboot, thats when it gets stuck so i had to do a hard reboot

its probably some bug in windows 7
