What Does KDE Stand For In Linux GUI?

I like KDE and its my favorite X Window environment.

KDE stands for Kommon Desktop Environment

whichever you prefer its up to you. none of these environments are more or less comparable in functionality. though you might have a personal preference for one desktop voe the other. if you are doing software development in the GUI, the choice might be made by that language you are suing. the GNOME desktop is written in C and used the widely available gtk toolkit. The KDE desktop is written in C++ and uses the qt toolkit
