hello, i got a dedicated server once, now i have another server with someone else and they gave me with mepis. but now i forgot the root password.

do you know how i can reset it.. once you helped me on this when i was your customer on another server

you have to login as sigle user mode.

once you are able to do that, you can just send this command:

LINUX COMMAND

passwd
