how to reset cisco 2950 switch configurations
to reset your factory configurations in your cisco 2950 switch is very easy, all you have to do is press the 'Mode' button and hold it for more than 3 seconds while its booting up.
so connect the power to your switch, then press and hold the 'Mode' switch for more than three seconds, you will see the 'set' light flash amber color that means that its waiting for you to enter a command
so see what the command is, you will need to connect to your switch through the console port, using the materials we described on page 1 of this tutorial we are going to use them to console into the switch.
