kernel panic attempt to kill init by malkas
looks like my server crashed i changed the memory on it and now i get this error
kernel panic attempt to kill init
what can i do to fix this error

the boot.log file contains system messages. check this file, it probably will give you some information about the problem. the /var/log/messages file will contain error messages generated by the kernel before the machine was rebooted, so /var/log/messages would be the first file to check if i were you to determine what is the problem with your system.

yeah, its a hardware issue.
i have seen this error before on linux servers
it just means you have the wrong type of memory for your server
you need to make sure its the same as the one your removed
