Ifconfig Doesnt Work by steler

im having a linux server which i am in the shell, but ifconfig is not working

can you tell me why ifconfig does not work when i send the command

im trying to figure out why its not working but i can't seem to figure out.

i tried everything and im kinda new to this. so if you can help find out how i can find out why is not working

send this command:

su -

then enter password

after that, try the IFCONFIG command
