How To Test Apache Httpd Is Working by Gregor

i got my dedicated server completed last night.

it says that it comes with httpd apache web server,

i try it using the ip address on the server for example:

http://192.168.1.010/

but instead i get a not found page.

obviously if i can't see any webpage when i go to my ip address my httpd web server is not running or working.

can you help.

that was it, i can see the default apache page now.

you might just have to turn on your httpd server its simple just send this command:

/etc/init.d/httpd start
