How To Set Change Default Gateway by Webune

which file do i need to edit in order to change and set my default gateway on my network configuration settings.

i have to change my default gateway to another router because the one i currently have is too far away and i setup a new one that's closer to my network can you tell me which file in my linux server i can do the changing for the settings of the computer defolt gate way?
