hello support,

i am in need of some help i like to know how to retrieve root password without boot in single user mode in my linux server. i am able to login to the ssh session on my computer can i reset or change my root password in single mode through my ssh connection?

you cannot with ssh,

you can, however, connect with your KVM connection so you can see the bios and GRUB loading, you can do this using grub
