How To Crack Linux Root Password by mb_tica

you are not going to believe this, but when i installed a copy of fedora core on my old pc, i forgot the root password, now im thinking about just re-imaging the whole coputer with a new installation but thats a real hasle.

is there a way to crack the root password so i dont have to reinstall the operating system?

ok, find out if you have grub as your boot loader and then we can figure it out how you can retrieve and reset the root password for you system
