How Can I Get My Data Backup Recovery

i manage a server for this customer and i made a mistake. it was assumed that the server was no longer in production. however, after disconnecting it and powering it off, i learned that there was atleast one group using the server for data storage. now when we try to boot up the server, it doesnt boot up. instead, it gives an error saying :

no ntldr found

im not sure what to do anymore, im scared because my boss is pretty upset and i think i might get fired. i am really scared because the economy is really hard right now and i dont know what im going to do if i dont have a job. do you know if its possible to recover lost data from a server that has crashed?
