His Page Cannot Be Displayed Due To An Internal Error by June2001

for some reason i have been getting this error on my website since las sunday, it says:

This page cannot be displayed due to an internal error.

You can provide the following information to the administrators of this site to help them solve the problem:

Error: Smarty error: [plugin] could not load plugin file 'outputfilter.xoRewriteModule.php' (core.load_plugins.php, line 118)

do you know what i can do to fix this problem. i've read some other blogs and it seem im having som issues with my apache mod rewrite, but i have not idea what is modrewrite
