hi, i leased a dedicated server from www.webue.com and when i rebooted my server i get this error, can you tell me what is the problem please?

there is your problem, you cant do that, you need to have the same type of DIMM. you either will have to change your memory to 512MB + 512MB or 1GB + 1GB.

the reason why are getting this error in your linux server its because there is a hardware problems, and since you changed the memory, there is your problem.

yes, i upgraded my memory. the server had two 512MB of memory so i removed them and install a 1GB DIMM on the second slot and removed the 512MB, no now i have two DIMMs, one is 512MB and the other is 1GB so total is 1.5GB.
