i have a intel computer and i tried to install windows 2003 for a project but when i boot the computer i get this error when i try to boof off the cd rom

FATAL: Could not read from the boot medium! System halted.

what can i do to fix it?

we have seen this error before, what happened to me was that my cdrom drive was not connected properly. so if you are also having the same problem be sure that your cd rom is connected to the computer

basically, you get this error because the computer cannot boot from the CD ROM
