Diskette Drive 0 Seek Failure

i had same problem. i followed suggestions and worked perfectly.

if you were messing around with your bios settings or you put your settings to defauls, you better make sure the system is not trying to boot from a floppy drive, which i am guessing you dont have one on your computer and so thats why you are getting this error message.

go to bios, when you see the DELL splash, and Press F2

when you enter setup in BIOS go to 'Standard CMOS Features' then under 'Drive A' Change:

1.44M 3.5 in.

TO
None

it should work. i also had issue with a dell computer and i wasn able to get around the press f1 annoying message prompt

another problem you may have is that you may be getting this error because your computer cant find a hard drive to boot from maybe you hardrive crashed
