need to know how to install a PPD driver on a linux. i am using fedora core 7 and i am using KDE.

how can install the printer on my computer.

note, the computer is able to use IPP protocol but CUPS does not have it on the list for the PH officejet 6500 model

you can install hplip on your system by sending this command:

yum install hplip

once hplip installs you are done..

if you need more help or want to install it yourself manually, you can go to this site:
