How To Start Windows 7 Sidebar

To open Sidebar
Open Windows Sidebar by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking All Programs, clicking Accessories, and then clicking "Windows Sidebar".

i tried that but i am missing "Windows Sidebar"

so this is how i did it

right click on your desktop and select gadgets


double click on whatever icon you want to add, then the gadget will appear on the right side of your desktop which the icon of the gadget
