the answer is very simple, just edit the /etc/fstab file and enable the option in this file, after you have made the changes you can restart for the changes to take affect

did you know by default the file system mounts on defaults mouting options. the default options for ext2 and ext3 file systems are:

rw, suid, dev, exec, auto, nouser and async

if you want to disable the seuid and setgid, you have to use the nosuid and nosgid options in the /etc/fstab file<
