Position Overview
Builds Web sites for the internet using scripting languages, graphics, and CSS

If you are a Website Developer with a minimum of three years experience in website design and development, join the Silicon Valley area's HOT Job market. Become a member of the Web Design and Development team, a talented group of Web designers and developers serving a global customer base. Support over 100 departmental Web managers located throughout the the Globe. Plan, design and manage the Web System’s internet and intranet Web sites and applications. Develop and oversee the Webune’s Web Hosting services including management of the Hosting System’s Web content management system.

The ideal candidate is an expert in building lightweight, forward-compatible, standards-compliant Web interfaces. Qualified candidates will have extensive knowledge of, and be able to hand code, HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript/DOM, PHP, PERL scripting. Experience applying information architecture, usability, accessibility and visual design principles to large-scale Web sites and applications. Cold Fusion experience is desired, but not required.

Essential Job Functions
• Programs in HTML, CSS, PHP, PERL and Java creating comprehensive Web sites
• Codes the HTML behind the each page, integrating artwork, text, video, and animations within the HTML
• Builds tables, frames, and forms, and writes scripts within the browser
• Utilizes Web authoring tools to create Web pages
• Verifies content and formatting
• Gather feedback from design and technical staff on Web development needs
• Meets with client and technical staff of projects, new technologies, and project deadlines
• Works closely with artistic staff on implementing technical aspects of graphical concepts into Web site
• Remains up-to-date on browser and plug-in technology
• Manages special projects

Requirements
• Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
• 2 years+ experience with Java and JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML
• Familiarity with Microsoft Server environment
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Work well within a team environment
• Work with minimal supervision

• Understanding of Sports stats and how they are compiled and used
